Nicholson Martini
The Nicholson Martini - a classic with a twist. A nod to the 'Golden Age of Cocktails' - circa, 1800 to 1920.
The classic Martini requires just two ingredients; gin and vermouth. With such a sparce recipe, it's essential that you master the quality of your liquid. To (slightly) toot our own horn, we'd like to announce that Nicholson was the gin of choice for countless 5 star hotel bars in New York City during the 'Golden Age'.
THE premium Martini, cool.
The Nicholson Martini - dry, elusive, and downright sensational.
Ingredients
5 Parts Nicholson London Dry Gin
1 Part Dry Vermouth (Try Noilly Prat)
Method
1. Add the gin and vermouth to a mixing glass filled with ice and stir for 20 –30 seconds.
2. Strain into a pre-chilled martini glass and garnish with a lemon zest.
The trick to making a great martini is to get it as cold as possible whilst also adding the correct amount of dilution. We recommend keeping your gin and your martini glass in the freezer pre-serve, to achieve the perfect sip.
